FLH Changemakers
Empowering students to design and lead impactful service and advocacy projects.
What is Changemakers?
The Changemakers Program gives FLH members the chance to go beyond volunteering by creating their own projects that directly serve or advocate for underserved communities. With support from FLH resources and mentorship, students can transform ideas into initiatives that make a lasting difference.

How it Works
Changemakers is a year long program starting each fall that allows members to turn ideas into reality with the guidance and support of the FLH board. Each project receives mentorship throughout the planning and implementation process, ensuring students feel confident as they lead. Selected projects may be awarded up to $1,000 in funding to cover supplies and resources. Most initiatives are designed to run over the course of one or two quarters, giving members enough time to propose, plan, and launch their ideas while learning what it takes to create sustainable community impact.

Want to participate, but don't want to lead?
We believe that service is at the core of meaningful change. If you want to support our projects but don't feel ready to lead one yet you can still be assigned to a group to help carry out a project and gain the skills and experience to lead your own project.
